  • Which patients can use aircraft transfers?

    • As long as detailed information will be given, we are able to transfer all critical patients to any destination points in the world. For those, requiring service should obey the Park International Services’s experienced service principles due to the safety of the patient and critical processing.
  • Are scheduled aircrafts or private aircrafts used in transfers?

    • Park International Services is able to use both scheduled and private aircrafts during the patient transfers. In both cases, according to the state of the patient and needs, the aircraft will be equipped with last technology life support devices and experienced escorting team.
  • How long does it take for Park International Services to response the requests?

    • When you place a request, you will get an answer in a few hours. If principles and service requirements of Park International Services is accepted by the patient / patient’s relatives, patient transfer process will be initiated as soon as the patient's medical condition and the condition of the requested service area permits.
  • If I accept the patient-air-transfer with Park International Services, how long will it take to initiate the transfer?

    • Transfer initiation depends on a few steps: the preparation of the patient, special or scheduled aircraft selection for the patient transfer, and preparation of medical team members and patient’s relatives. If these steps are suitable with Park International Servicess principles from 6 hours to 48 hours after the approval, the transfer will be initiated.
  • Is the Park International Services team evaluating the patient's state during the transfer preparations?

    • The patient’s state will be evaluated on-site before the transfer if he is accepted as seriously critical state by Park International Services, or it is requested by patient/ patient’s relatives. In this case we are able to provide safer transfer conditions. Even, these pre-visits may direct the treatment procedure, leading to obtain better results in further treatments.
  • What is the patient pre-transfer preparations? What are the key steps?

    • The steps of patient pre-transfer are as follows:
    • Step 1: To be provided detailed epicrisis from primary health care institute or the patient's physician
    • Step 2: The provision of Park International Services medical personnel with the patient's physician
    • Step 3: To fill the “FIT TO FLY” form in order to move the procedure ahead.
  • How should patient's relatives get prepared? How to pay service fee?

    • The patient’s relatives need to prepare all the patient’s official travel documents. Airway transfer fees need to paid in cash. The patient’s accompanying relatives need to have all qualifications to fulfill all the procedures (hospitalization records, visa..etc.) in the destination point.
  • As a patient relative, where am I going to stay in the destination point? How am I going to use local transfer system?

    • Park International Services will manage all other processes. The entire request regarding to the accommodation and local transfer will be answered, immediately.
  • Does patient transfer have any risks?

    • Relatives of the patient should be aware of all the processes, and accept the fact that some risks are present in this process. A number of transferrable patients requesting air transfer are accepted as in a medically critical condition. Unfortunately, all risks should be considered at all times.
  • Can I accompany with my relative in the aircraft?

    • In private aircrafts two relative is able to accompany the patient.
  • Can Park International Services transfer the patients overland?

    • Park International Services, Park International Services, based on its team structure and service standards, serves as an air-transfer company, which is an extremely critical transfer system and requires specific experience. If we direct our resources to overland transfer, there is a possibility to risk our standards to protect our patient’s lives which continuously need more care and attention. However we may use overland transfer for the patients who have no other choice and only if the transfer distance is short.
